Stachakay (Kay) joined the team in March 2025 as the Director of Community Connections and Social Work. As the Director of Community Connection and Social Work she is responsible for supporting the social-emotional growth and wellbeing of students and families through individual and group counseling, and for developing robust community connections that support recruitment, organizational partnerships, and collaboration resulting in better outcomes for children. Kay earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work from Sacred Heart University, where she developed a strong foundation in advocacy, social justice, and community engagement. A licensed social worker, an adjunct professor at Sacred Heart University, and founder and Executive Director of non-profit Beautiful Inside and Out, Inc., Kay is also a Mindfulness Informed Professional and a certified school social worker.
